Car and Driver Hyundai Tucson Review

Reviewers at Car and Driver found the Tucson interior to be accommodating, versatile, and comfortable. Here’s more from the Car and Driver Hyundai Tucson review:

“The new Tucson sports a simplistic but modern dashboard design with a digital gauge display, a push-button shifter, and touch-sensitive control panel for the climate-control system and infotainment. Hyundai’s flagship Palisade SUV and the brand’s recently redesigned Sonata and Elantra sedans have served as a sort of watershed moment for the company’s interior designs, and the new Tucson looks to continue the trend with a thoughtfully arranged interior filled with quality materials and luxury features.”

Edmunds Hyundai Tucson Review

Edmunds recognized the 2022 Tucson for its forward-thinking design and sleek styling inside and out. Here’s what they had to say:

“The Tucson has historically hewn to conservative styling conventions. Now in its fourth generation, the new version is quite different, with a cascading front light signature, squared wheel arches and bold creases on the bodywork. The interior is also more dynamic, with a center stack devoid of hard buttons and a shroudless digital instrument panel. An avant-garde SUV? It’s happening, and it’ll be in showrooms by the spring of 2021.”

MotorTrend Hyundai Tucson Review

In their Hyundai Tucson review, MotorTrend uses words like “stellar”, “lovely”, and “nifty” to describe this SUV. Here’s an excerpt:

“The Tucson’s interior has a completely different aesthetic, and it’s stellar. The dashboard forms a wide arc around the driver and front passenger, with the instruments and center stack floating on standalone panels. The arc carries into the back seat, interrupted (rather rudely, we might add) by the B-pillar. It’s a lovely design that doesn’t compromise ergonomics. The displays are crisp and bright—bright enough, Hyundai points out, there’s no need to shade the instrument panel for daylight visibility. The movement of the computerized needles is Disney-smooth, and the gauges change with a rather nifty animation when a different drive mode is selected.”

CNET Hyundai Tucson Review

CNET thinks the 2022 Tucson is “the best one yet”. Here’s some more from the CNET Hyundai Tucson review:

“Hyundai isn’t falling into the industry-typical habit of making all its new cars look like Russian dolls. From the Sonata to the Palisade to the Elantra, every new Hyundai debut is more interesting than the last. But they’re more than just great pieces of design — these products are well-rounded, too. The 2022 Tucson crossover isn’t just Hyundai’s latest model, it’s the company’s best one yet.”
